After a scheduled court appearance on the afternoon of Monday (Nov. 6), a Pennsylvania judge sentenced Meek Mill to two to four years in state prison for alleged probation violations, and celebrities immediately began to express their support for the Philly MC through social media.
Commons Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley recounted a failed drug test and unwarranted travel hailing from a 2008 gun and drug case, which placed ground for the two to four-year sentencing.
According to Judge Brinkley, Meek has failed to adhere to her orders after giving the rapper several chances to redeem himself.
Jay Z, whose Roc Nation Management company annexes Mill as a signee, Kevin Hart, Nipsey Hussle and several more celebrities took to social media to show their support for the flamers rapper and voice their thoughts on Judge Brinkley’s “unjust” decision.
