Sean Kingston wants the world to know that he once had a fling with Serena Williams. The “Beautiful Girls” songwriter stopped by BBC Radio 1’s “Smashed With Sloth”, to speak on his first record deal at age 17, Justin Bieber, business, music and the women he’s dated.
When the topic of women came up, Sean was quick to point to tennis legend Serena Williams as the most famous woman he has ever slept with. The supremely athletic and talented Williams was said to have a nurturing spirit during her time with Kingston.
“That was somebody that I really looked to for advice…I used to workout with her,” he said. “She was just always somebody that really, really looked out for me and made sure that I was good.” The 27-year-old explained that Williams (now a mom with fiance Alexis Ohanian at her side), was helpful during his time of recovery from a jet ski accident.
When it comes to the relationship not lasting Kingston attributes it simply to being young. “I knew what I had, but I just didn’t really follow-up on some stuff that I was supposed to follow-up on,” he states. “I was kind of young at the time, and I was being young. She’s older than me so she wanted something different.”
