Gearing up for his fifth studio album OBLiViON, T-Pain released his latest single “Textin My Ex”, featuring singer Tiffany Evans on November 10. The song shows Pain reflecting on the one that got away and his struggle to get over her, all while currently being in a new relationship. In a recent interview with Complex, when asked about the song, T- Pain said:
“There’s nothing more nerve- wrecking than watching those three dots mocking the f**k out of you for 20 minutes, then it’s just… kk”
Following the release of “Goal line” featuring Blac Youngsta and F.B.G.M. with Young M.A., the album is set to be released on November 17th. According to T-Pain, this will be his last release on RCA Records.
