T.I. and Tiny, Remy and Papoose, and now Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert will be blessing our TV screens with that good ole Black love. That’s right VH1 announced on Tuesday November 14th that a new series called Teyana and Iman will be dedicated to Shumpert and his wife R&B singer- actress- model. Set to debut on February 19th 2018, Teyana and Iman will follow the newlyweds at New York Fashion week, the 2017 VMAs red carpet, and family time as they raise their daughter baby Junie. In the video posted by VH1, Shumpert says: “It’s so important to be a positive representation of black love. Teyana adds, “Not even just black love- all love. It is to inspire love period.” VH1 describes the series as follows:

“You have Teyana, a dynamic hyphenate entertainer currently cooking up new music while booking acting and fashion gigs all over the globe. Meanwhile, Iman is dedicating total focus to helping the Cleveland Cavaliers win another NBA championship. Together they juggle two healthy yet demanding careers while their toddler Junie is their real boss at home. Finally, you’ll get to see a couple that can shut down a red carpet like no one’s business, but still put on a pair of matching PJs and roast each other like no one’s watching.”

Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor will be the executive producers for their show.  While David Goldberg, Caroline Baumguard, Ted Iredell, Perry Dance, and Billy Kemp will be the executive producers for Banijay Studios. If they’re as entertaining on TV as they are on social media, then fans should expect something great.
