Jaden, who is clearly taking after his father, Will Smith, showcases his ability to fluently spits rhymes and drop a harmony on a beat that is focused on shuffle through the sound of the calming drum and amplified guitar.

With the energy of Raury, the track will cause listeners to go from a hyperactive bounce, into a slow frictionless head nod. Smith and Raury previously collaborated on a song for the Get Down soundtrack, “Losing Your Mind.” His decision to recruit the Atlanta native for this track was indeed a grand idea, which is evident in the song’s undisturbed chemistry. In a recent interview on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show, Jaden describes his musical bond with Raury: “I feel like one time, we just linked and connected,” reveals Jaden. “Me and Raury are super close, and our vision for the future and for music are really similar.”

“There’s cops on the road, Fuck em
There’s cops on the road, wait, Fuck em” the hook rocks.

“Falcon” is a follow-up to Smith’s single “Diamonds v1” as he goes from rapping about a pretty lady at the bodega, to roaming the universe unapologetically disregarding the cops.

The coming of Jaden Smith as a musician is certainly a journey many hip-hop/pop enthusiasts are looking forward to. SYRE: A Beautiful Confusion will debut on Friday, Nov. 17. Stream his latest single with Raury “Falcon”, over at Spotify and Apple Music here.
