OBJ ain’t letting no season-ending injury stop him from making his bread.

The New York Giants wide receiver teased his followers on twitter, Thursday with the first look at his Nike Air Force 1 collaboration. The tweet read:

NY simply cultivated what Louisiana raised. I am OBJ. Read the Label. @nikesportwear X footlocker #AF1

The photo shows a tag label with “Nike OBJ Air Force 1” lettering. Sportswear and footwear retailer Footlocker confirmed the collaboration, by quoting the tweet with “Stay Tuned” shortly afterwards.

Odell signed the “richest NFL shoe deal” with Nike in May with a deal worth up to $30 million dollars over the next five years. The salary is reported to pay Beckham Jr. nearly twice the amount Nike has ever paid a football athlete. The deal is also reported to pay Beckham Jr. more than his NFL team. The NY Giants pays the wide receiver $10.4 million over the next four years, with a $5.9 million signing bonus.

Nike has celebrated the 35th anniversary of the AF1 silhouette throughout the year, by collaborating with many hip-hop fashion influencers including Virgil Abloh, Kareem “Biggs” Burke, Travis Scott and many more.
