President Donald Trump doesn’t like to be upstaged and is here for all the pettiness.
On Sunday, Trump fired back at Lavar Ball, who downplayed the president’s role in getting his son and two other UCLA basketball players released after they were detained in China for questioning following shoplifting allegations.
Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!

LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill returned to the United States on Tuesday after they were held on shoplifting charges in China. The players allegedly stole sunglasses from a store in Hangzhou ahead of UCLA’s season-opening game against Georgia Tech in Shanghai.
LaVar Ball downplayed the role Trump had in bringing the players back to the United States in an interview with ESPN.com’s Arash Markazi.
“Who?” Ball said of Trump. “What was he over there for? Don’t tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.”
Forget Donald Trump vs. Kim Jong-un, or Donald Trump vs. the NFL. Donald Trump vs. LaVar Ball is the new hot rivalry.
Twitter, naturally, couldn’t quite believe what they were seeing, with many predicting a future Wrestlemania showdown between the two.

Trump vs Ball is a fitting way to close out 2017. Enormous egos and pettiness, seems to reign supreme in 2017. Ball should be happy his son is home and Trump shouldn’t be tweeting about getting an apology and saying he should of left those kids in jail.
