In the last two years, Roc Nation has signed a laundry list of big names in the Hip-Hop game such as, T.I., Fat Joe, The Lox and even Jim Jones. But the biggest name to be signed to Roc Nation is not a man at all.
According to Page Six, Mariah Carey is signing with Roc Nation as her new management team. The singer is said to be signing with Roc Nation after firing her former manager Stella Bulochnikov earlier in the month. A source close to Mariah told Page Six, that “[Mariah] is cleaning house. She is getting legitimate people, assistants, a lawyer, and Stella is not happy about it”. It was alleged that her boyfriend and backup dancer Bryan Tanaka was going to take on the role of her manager, but it has been confirmed that he is solely her creative director. “Previously, there were all kinds of people involved in her career and Mariah didn’t even know those people. She had distance herself from all that and she’s now cleaning house,” the source insisted.
Neither Mariah Carey or Roc Nation Management has confirmed that career move as of yet.
