“Juelz dip dip, Sanatana set set, what we grip grip, nigga tec tec. Who you wit wit, dog no set. Dip set Dip set Dip set, (Oww)”

If you’re a real Dipset fan, then you know that intro. Social media has made today National Dipset Day in honor of the group’s reunion. Now, for those of you who may be wondering what is the big deal, well back in Feb. 2017 a reunion seemed very unlikely after the world tuned in to watch Cam’ron livestream his epic response to Jim Jones ‘ tear- filled interview with Funk Master Flex. We thought it was a wrap after that. But in 2017, anything is possible.

On Oct. 18, Spotify announced that the Harlem group, Dipset which includes Cam’ron, Juelz Sanatana, Jim Jones, and Freekey Zekey are reuniting on stage for the fourth show of the six- city RapCaviar Live Tour along with A$AP Mob and other special guests on Nov. 21. Today is the day; National Dipset Day. The event will take place tonight at the renowned Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

Jim Jones posted a video on his Instagram last night on November 20th  letting his fans know that the show is in fact sold out.

In his caption he stated, “#DipSetTing this ain’t a reunion it’s a communion. Hammerstein ball room is sold out and the after party is at @lustny_”

If you’re lucky enough to be in attendance tonight, you have a great show in store. It looks like the group will be bringing back the old vibes of the early 2000’s. We hope that this will be the last of the back and forth between the crew and fans can actually look forward to new music.
