Remember when we found out Justin Timberlake was headlining the halftime show at Super Bowl LII? Many fans weren’t happy at the idea that Timberlake was allowed back to perform and yet Janet Jackson was still banned. Well, according to Joe Jackson, Janet is expected to join that stage this February.
At the Soul Train Awards Papa Joe said,
“Janet is ready to come back, and I think it will happen. The way I bought her up she is made for comebacks and this is no different.”
Joe continues by saying that the show is about ratings, whether we want to discuss it or not. With the declining NFL ratings, this pairing might just be the boost the NFL needs. There hasn’t been any confirmation of Janet returning to the stage just yet until contracts have been signed. It’s been 16 years since that controversial nip slip that banned Ms. Jackson from performing in the future.
Janet, Ms. Jackson if you nasty, is currently on her “State of The World” tour which have had celebrities like Gabrielle Union and Teyana Taylor as big fans and have attended one of the concerts on tour.
