Allegedly Rapper Nicki Minaj and Nas decided to go their separate ways after 7 months.
According to TMZ, the rappers broke up a few weeks ago after the relationship “ran out of steam.” They have been dating since June 2017 but apparently living in different cities became too much to handle. Nicki and Nas began confirming dating rumors in May when Minaj shared a cozy picture of her and Nas with the caption, “Only KINGS recognize QUEENS.” Since then, slowly they each began to pop up on each other’s social media on multiple occasions.
After what was just a sneak peek, the two took things much more publicly for his 44th birthday. They were both cuddled up in front of guests and cameras the whole night. Followed by a confession from Nicki on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She mentioned that she was in the midst of a year celibacy but would break it for Nas because “he’s so dope.” She also mentioned that she thought he was cute, and that they did have sleepovers occasionally. Nas also showed Ms. Minaj social media love on December 8th for her birthday.
According to sources, rumors of Nicki being pregnant can be put to rest because she is not and both artists will be getting back to business full- time, with Nas focusing on his record label and restaurant, Sweet Chick and Nicki juggling multiple business ventures outside of music. It has also been reported that they both intend on respecting each other but there will not not be any hanging out as friends.
