TDE’s Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith teased some new Jay Rock music Wednesday, and Thursday, it came to fruition. Featuring Kendrick Lamar, James Blake, and Future, Rock’s new track, “King’s Dead” will be featured on the Black Panther movie soundtrack. The song’s production is provided by Mike Will Made-It, 30 Roc and Teddy Walton, producer of Goldlink’s “Crew.” Walton also produced Lamar’s “LOVE,” from his 2017 album DAMN.

Top Dawg Entertainment and Lamar will curate and executive produce the Black Panther soundtrack. Lamar released the first single from the soundtrack, “All The Stars” featuring labelmate SZA last week. This is Jay Rock’s first time collaborating with Future and Blake. This is also Rock’s first single as a lead artist since his 2015 release 90059.
