Young MA is teasing fans with new music after dropping a snippet of a freestyle to Gucci Mane’s “I Get the Bag.” The Brooklyn MC dropped the snippet on Instagram and Twitter Saturday.; “First freestyle of 2018! Went 4 min straight on this! When should I drop this,” Young MA said on Twitter.
Young MA has been quiet for some time.
Following the success of the double platinum hit “OOOUUU” Young MA lost a lot of the attention she brought in from the hit single. The “Hot Sauce” rapper has yet to drop an album, but did release an EP in April titled Herstory EP. MA admitted that the overnight success of “OOOUUU” was a little overwhelming.
Young MA is looking to revamp her career in 2018 after taking a few steps backwards. Young MA took to Instagram just after the new year to announce that she had a new meat and alcohol free diet that helped the rapper lose twenty pounds.
Young MA said that she felt a whole new energy, and mental strength. It seems that this could have been the start to Young MA getting back in her bag.

The question now remains if fans will finally a get a full length LP from Young MA. The opportunity seems wide open for the 25-year-old to make 2018 a great year for her to advance her career. Young MA is scheduled to perform at the University of Toronto on Thursday for UTSU Frost week.
