XXxtentacion has reason to celebrate today, as the single from his 17 album just went RIAA certified double platinum. X announced on Monday that “Jocelyn Flores” reached double platinum status on Monday making this the “Look at Me” rapper’s highest selling song.

X took to Instagram to let his followers know of his achievement. “Just found out I went double platinum worldwide with my song Jocelyn Flores! Hope your proud Jocelyn! Thank you for watching over me,” X said on his Instagram story.

The Potsu-produced and Shiloh Dynasty-assisted track is titled after a friend of the rapper who committed suicide in May 2017. Jocelyn Flores was in Florida for a photo shoot when she decided to take her life, leaving the rapper heartbroken. X would later drop “Revenge,” which is another song dedicated to his friend, Jocelyn.

As a dedication, XXXtentacion placed this song at the top of the album, and spoke directly to those who suffer with depression throughout the album. “Picture this, in bed get a phone call girl that you f**k with killed herself. That was this summer and nobody helped, and ever since then, man I hate myself, wanna f**kin end it,” raps X on ‘Jocelyn Flores.’

XXXtentacion now has two platinum plaques – one for “Jocelyn Flores” and one for the infectious hit song “Look at Me” that blew up while he was locked up in a Florida prison. The rapper has since signed a multi-million dollar deal with Capitol Records, and is still releasing music in the midst of dealing with charges that could land him in jail for years.

The “Red light” rapper recently released A Ghetto Christmas EP, which featured five tracks that X put out before he was jailed with more than seven pending felony charges. The rapper was released and put on house arrest until trial.
