Drake and the Toronto Raptors are great businesses for the city of Toronto. Their partnership has been nothing but success. Now it’s time to expand that partnership.
On Wednesday, the Raptors announced a collaboration with Drake and OVO titled “Welcome Toronto.” The on-court results will see Raptors players wear OVO-themed jerseys for six home games over the remainder of the season.
For each of the six “Welcome Toronto” games, the Raptors will wear their new OVO-edition uniforms and debut a new black and gold home court.
According to the press release, the Raptors and OVO have pledged $1 million over the next three years to refurbish and refresh local community basketball courts. For each of the next three years, four local community courts will be selected for a capital investment with the first four court locations announced later this month.
