Apparently Justin Timberlake’s return to the halftime show brings up a sore spot for the entertainer.

During a round of “Spill the Indus-Tea”, entertainment mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs jokingly tells Andy Cohen no one remembers his Super Bowl XXXVIII (38) performance after the famed nipple slip with Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake. Diddy reflected on the latest episode of Watch What Happens Live (Bravo Network) how his performance with Nelly back in 2004 for was largely overlooked and over shadowed due to all the press surrounding Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction. He hilariously summed up that he spent 6 months of his life preparing for a moment on stage that apparently has slipped everyone’s mind.

“First of all, I want to say that I’m still upset about that Super Bowl because I put, like, six months of my life into the preparation. And then nobody even knew I performed,” commented Diddy on the live broadcast interview.

Justin Timberlake will be making his return to Halftime Show stage, for Super Bowl LII (52) and Diddy was asked his thoughts on Janet Jackson possibly making a return to the stage as well. However as 2017’s highest paid entertainer and being pushed into the running to buy an NFL sports team, the universe is more than making up for his lost performance.
