The often-masked entertainer is no newcomer to the Italian Hip-Hop landscape, having put in work over the last two decades, releasing four solo studio projects. This includes a live album/documentary combination and an assortment of collaborative projects. In 2013 Salmo’s Blood Shake, a collaboration with hardcore Dutch Hip Hop outfit Dope D.O.D., saw his fame continue to extend beyond his region, and made his music increasingly accessible to the English language market.

Most recently, Salmo released his Hellvisback on Sony Music, an album he produced himself, and featured musical heavyweights like Travis Barker of Blink 182 and Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo of The Bloody Beetroots. Hellvisback earned platinum status, sat atop the Italian charts and led to Salmo playing to stadiums and soldout arenas throughout Italy and across Europe. In celebration of his platinum status, Salmo also released a deluxe edition with a bonus disc and an impressive comic book he wrote in collaboration with esteemed illustrator Francesco “FR3NK” Liori.
