It looks like Migos youngest rapper is taking the reins on his career with a new mixtape on the way with DJ Carnage on the way. The “Mase in 97” producer posted a screenshot of himself and Takeoff on Twitter with the caption, “Takeoff x Carnage Tape Coming Soon.”

Takeoff is the only member of Migos who hasn’t stepped out of their group situation to work on a joint project with another artist. Quavo recently dropped the long awaited Huncho Jack joint project with Travis Scott and Offset dropped the Without Warning project with Metro Boomin and 21 Savage.
Back in September, DJ Carnage linked up with Atlanta rapper Young Thug for the Young Martha EP. The 4 track project gave us tracks like “10,000 Slimes” and “Homies” featuring Meek Mill. Carnage also linked up with Lil Pump for the song “i Shyne.”
The 23-year-old Migos rapper has been busy working on the Culture 2 album which dropped on Friday. Migos were putting their final touches on the project up until the release date and can now kick back and reap the benefits of their hard work.  Also, on Sunday Migo Gang is up for some Grammy awards as well for Best Rap Album with Culture and Best Rap Performance for “Bad and Boujee.”
Fellow Quality Control artist, Lil Yachty, teased fans with a possible joint project with Takeoff, but this reveal was prior to Culture II being released. Also, Lil Yachty is currently working on his next album, Lil Boat 2, which is now finished but has yet to drop. There has been no word on if Yachty and Takeoff already have tracks together but with both artists seeming to be finished with their previous obligations, we could see something happen in the near future.
