The WWE made history on Sunday night with the first ever female Royal Rumble Match and it didn’t disappoint.
Asuka secured a WWE Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania 34 on April 4th by winning the first ever female rumble in a dominating performance.

Final four were the Bellas, Banks and Asuka. The Bellas double crossed Banks and eliminated her. Then Nikki turned on her sister and eliminated Brie. That left Asuka and Nikki Bella. Asuka kicked Nikki off the apron to win.
WWE chief brand officer Stephanie McMahon shared her thoughts on the match:
I could not be more proud of all the women who competed in the first ever women’s #RoyalRumble match and every woman who paved the way. Their sacrifices, their perseverance, and their incredible talent led to this moment. I’m in awe. Congrats ladies, you deserve it! #RumbleForAll

The match was a great homage to the past and present superstars of the women’s division. There were a lot of spots open and not enough women on the roster to make a solid 30 so we knew a lot of legends would pop up.
Michelle McCool got to take out a few folks. So did Lita. And , Molly Holly’s stint was cool. The only two entrants who were treated, harmlessly, like jokes were Vickie Guerrero and (to a lesser extent) Lana. And it still worked well.
Who Will Asuka Challenge At Mania?
The WWE have a few options for Auska. Most likely, she will be competing against Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women Championship at Wrestlemania. Considering Ronda Rousey just signed with the WWE, winning the Royal Rumble secures a championship match so the game plan should just be that.
