Roughly a year after his death at the age of 90, Chuck Berry will be getting not only a documentary but a biopic. According to Deadline, the documentary tentatively titled Chuck! The Documentary, is being speared by director and producer Jon Brewer.
Berry’s widow, Thelmetta Berry approved to start the production of the film. There hasn’t been a producer or director chosen for the biopic as of yet but once the documentary is finished, the biopic should start pre-production.
Chuck Berry is a pioneer in the world of rock and roll being one of the first musicians to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Born in Missouri, he had an early start to music due to school and church. Berry gave us hit songs like “Roll Over Beethoven” and “Johnny B. Goode” and will be remembered for being a rock and roll legend.
