The city of Angels will embrace the three stripe logo of Adidas during the first two days of all-star weekend. The sportswear conglomerate plans to host a huge event in Los Angeles on Friday, Feb. 16 and Saturday, Feb. 17. The company will take over 747 Warehouse St. in LA. A number of customized, never before seen kicks will be released during that two day span. In their most recent campaign, Adidas encourages creators, whether in sports or music, to use their platform to innovate. All-Stars, James Harden and Damian Lillard are both sponsored by Adidas. A number of NBA and WNBA players will be in attendance such as Washington Wizard’s John Wall, LA Lakers Brandon Ingram and LA Spark’s Candace Parker.

Not only will they unveil new sneakers, but the event will include performances from N.E.R.D., a panel discussion, several exclusive releases and a basketball game.

Although it is not clear whether they will suit up to play or not, the two team captains for the game will be Snoop Dogg and 2 Chainz. Snoop is a frequent All-Star celebrity game participant and 2 Chainz was a top basketball prospect in high school. The rappers will represent their respective coasts as they go head to head for the exhibition.
