Third Eye Open. Texas’ most dynamic duo Black3Theory return to wax with the release of their sophomore project “In Plain Sight.” The ambitious eight-song effort is a crash course in dynamic sonics. Whether it’s the “ATLiens”- esque “Minds Eye,” UGK-inspired title track or the celebratory “Live It Up,” Black3theory cover every soundscape with equal aplum.
Their expert sound should be no surprise to fans as one half of the group, producer / emcee, Master Eon, is also the engineer behind Sir Michael Rocks’ latest solo releases. The project also includes crowd favorite and Famsquad collaboration “Dat Sh**,” the crowd’s favorite record when the duo performed at SXSW.
