Speaking of good music, The intersection between electronic music and live instrumentation is also a thing. The newest artist who is quickly filling this role is Balkan Bump, a producer who has stormed onto the scene with a debut collaborative single with Talib Kweli. Balkan Bump dropped another version of the same song in the late 2017 alongside Gramatik and Talib Kweli. However, this version does not feature Gramatik.

Now Balkan Bump debuts a new version of the single “Aymo” which means “Let’s Go” in native Yugoslavian language. The song blends Balkan Bump’s background in world music. The resulting tune is a ballot of an electronic track, laying a solid groundwork for Talib’s dark accompanying verses. “Aymo” adds another hit to Kweli’s and Balkan Bump’s respective musical library. If anything the song solidifies Balkan Bump as a serious artist to watch out for this year.

Balkan Bump’s debut EP will be coming out over the next few months via Gramatik’s Lowtemp label, and this single highlights what can be expected of his forthcoming content.
