Martin may not be the only reunion; according to Nicole Ari Parker, Soul Food might be making a comeback as well. While at dinner with her hubby, and actor Boris Kodjoe and co- star Malinda Williams a.k.a ‘Bird‘, Nicole posted a photo on her Instagram with the captio, “Sis… should we do a #SoulFood reunion? Hmmm let’s think about it for 3 seconds #duh.”
Now if you remember back in 2015, the couple had the whole Soul Food cast on their talk show, ‘The Boris and Nicole Show‘ where they reminisced and re-visited old memories, past show moments as well as future plans as a cast.
The Soul Food TV series became a spin-off of the original movie of the same name. The writers only expanded the story lines of the characters (Vanessa A. Williams, Aaron Meeks, Rockmond Dunbar, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Nicole Ari Parker, Boris Kodjoe) and ran from 2000 to 2004. We hope that the insinuations of a Soul Food reunion is true, let’s just bring back the whole 90’s era.
