Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Darrelle Revis will make his official debut into the fashion industry with the release of the GG X DR capsule collection.

As part of a 10 piece limited collection, Revis showcased his new designs during fashion week in New York City. Presented by Grungy Gentleman designer Jace Lipstein, the brand featured short and long sleeve tees, crewneck sweatshirts, shorts with a legging insert, joggers, and a windbreaker in hues of heather grey and black. The line sports 3M reflective detailing accents select pieces along with Darrelle’s bold trademarked logo, and the six stripes that represents Grungy Gentleman signature look. For Revis, fashion was a natural progression from his elaborate sports career.

“In the creative process we managed to share ideas which eventually became the foundation of this collaboration. One idea was to include 3M reflective material to make the collection establish a casual personality in addition to being stylish. Sportswear has become very mainstream in today’s fashion and the Darrelle Revis brand is excited to be teaming up with Grungy Gentleman for its first capsule collection.” – Darrelle Revis

Debuting the brand with two consecutive packed shows, viewers were treated to a brand that welcomes diversity. Grungy Gentleman’s casual looks are ones that can easily transcend from day wear to a night on the town with signature blazers that could prop up any style. To help him kick off his new fashion endeavor Revis brought some of NFL buddies to walk to in the show.  Dallas Cowboys cornerback Nolan Carroll, Seattle Seahawks strong safety Kam Chancellor, and NY Giants running back Wayne Gallman all hit the runway rocking the brand.

Besides walking in the show Revis will also be featured in the upcoming lookbook for the brand.
