There is a Black Panther movement toward getting more kids to watch the Marvel film. Celebrities, artists, influencers and record labels have been joining the movement, buying out theaters and ensuring children with limited resources could see the movie. A Go Fund Me has also been created in this effort, and has raised $400,000 to ensure that this is being done. In particular, artists like Lil Yachty and Offset have decided to join the movement and surprised kids who went to see the movie in Los Angeles, Calif.

Yachty and Offset decided to hit up the El Capitan Theatre Saturday afternoon where “This is Us” writer Jas Waters funded a screening for 500 foster and at-risk children. According to Jas, Offset and Yachty surprised fans and ended up buying out the rest of the theater.

TMZ captured the moment when they arrived when they replied to the happy film-goers “We just wanted to watch this movie with ya’ll, Yachty said. “And have a good time” Offset added. It’s clear that more benevolent acts from influencers will occur as Black Panther continues to drive millions of people to see the film in it’s opening weekend.
