One of the biggest hip-hop festivals to reach the Southern Hemisphere in recent years kicks off early next month, taking in Melbourne and Sydney on the East coast of Australia. The All-Star line up featuring Lil Wayne, producers Metro Boomin and DJ Mustard, DJ Khaled’s We The Best Music Group signee Ace Hood, Tyga, Wale and MadeinTYO (Billboard and Spotify’s Breakout Artist of 2016) will make up the brand new Jumanji Festival 2018 line-up so far.

This star-studded festival set local fans into a frenzy when the initial announcement of Lil Wayne, Metro Boomin, DJ Mustard and Ace Hood was dropped in the first week of January. After first release tickets were sold out for both of the festival shows, the second announcement of Tyga, Wale and MadeinTYO being added to the bill sent Australian fans into overdrive and both shows are now expected to sell out their massive capacities.

Representing their first Australian shows for some of the artists on the bill, the massive outdoor shows may be the renewed catalyst for future massive international hip-hop tours hitting the wider Asia-Pacific region in years to come.
