After a show-stopping series of events throughout All Star weekend in honor of the release of his debut album, Victory Lap, Nipsey Hussle isn’t quite done yet. Yesterday [February 21], Nipsey released a 7-min short film for a fan favorite song on the album, Hussle & Motivate.
The Hussle & Motivate short film stars Nipsey’s long time girlfriend, Lauren London, depicting the couple as the modern day Bonnie & Clyde as they flee from the police after Nipsey holds a Brinks truck hostage and embezzles bags of money on a mission to secure the requested amount of funds to bail a friend out of jail.
The police follow Nipsey & Lauren all the way to his stomping grounds in which the tables turn and the entire neighborhood hold the policemen captive in their own police cars. The short film ends with the mission accomplished and Nipsey’s friend eventually being released from jail.
