After having one of the more notable dropoffs in recent memory, rapper Pill is back from the shadows with a new track called “Back Right.” The track’s production is supplied by 808 Mafia. The Atlanta rapper first burst on the scene in 2010 with the mixtape hit “Trap Goin Ham.” The success of the track, which was featured on his debut mixtape, 4180: The Prescription was parlayed into Pill landing a spot on the XXL 2010 Freshman Class list. The inclusion on the list helped him ink a deal with Rick Ross and his imprint Maybach Music Group in 2011. There, his buzz was at an all-time high with him, Wale and Meek Mill slated to be up next. The MMG deal would ultimately fall through, with Pill parting ways with the label in 2012. Later in 2012, he released his last project The Epidemic. But it appears that Pill is ready to be back in the forefront again.
