Lonzo Ball was asked in the city of Atlanta, which has produced some of hip-hop’s hottest rappers in this era, who his top five favorite rappers are today. The 6 ft 6 hooper wasted no time running down his list.

Future, Drake, Quavo, Offset, and 21 [Savage],” the oldest ball brother told reporters. Four of the Chino Hills baller’s top five favorite rappers are from Atlanta, the fifth, Drake, being from Toronto. Takeoff was also omitted from Lonzo’s favorites and is the only Migos rapper to not make the Lakers star’s list.

Ball showed no love to his West Coast roots in his top five which is surprising considering the West Coast is at the forefront of hip-hop with Kendrick Lamar, Nipsey Hussle, and YG all putting in work for the culture this year. Regardless, the oldest Ball brother likes what he likes.

The 20-year-old ball player also dabbles in rap music as well as an artist. While nursing a knee injury, Zo put together his ‘Born 2 Ball’ album which he was able to perform during All-Star Weekend. The 17-track album with no features has “BBB” and “Super Saiyan” on the track-list, two songs that Lonzo released earlier this season.

During his visit to Atlanta, the Big Baller Brand premiere athlete linked up with Ohio native and Atlanta resident Shad “Bow Wow” Moss to shoot some hoops. The two had a three point competition to which the So So Def rapper claims he beat Zo in 1 out of their 2 games.

Perhaps Lonzo was still drained from his game Monday night after losing a three point contest to Calvin Cambridge. Lonzo Ball hit 3 for 3 from three point line on Monday, finishing with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists against the Atlanta Hawks adding 3 steals as well.
