Bobby Brown doesn’t think Whitney Houston died from drugs

Earlier this month marked the sixth anniversary of Whitney Houston‘s death, and in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Bobby Brown shared some personal thoughts about his late ex- wife, Whitney Houston. Brown does not think Whitney died from drugs. “No, not at all. She was really working hard on herself to try to be a sober person and, she was a great woman.” In his opinion, “being broken-hearted” was the real cause of the legendary singer’s death. Whitney Houston died on February 11, 2012, after drowning face down in a water- filled bathtub in her Beverly Hilton hotel suite in Los Angeles.

Brown also mentioned in the interview that he wants Nick Gordon, who was Bobbi Kristina‘s former boyfriend and adopted brother, allegedly to serve time for the death of his late daughter. Bobbi passed away on July 26, 2015 after being in a coma for six months. She too had been found in a water-filled bathtub, accompanied with a mix of drugs and alcohol found in her system. In 2016, Nick was found liable in a wrongful death suit in the case of Bobbi Kristina after failing to appear in court. He was ordered to pay $36 million to Bobbi Kristina’s estate.

When asked what kind of justice he would like to see, Bobby Brown replied with, “Justice? If Gordon was locked up somewhere where somebody can rape him. That’s just how i feel. He raped me by taking my daughter away.”
