During the Academy Awards, Netflix aired a teaser for the sixth and final season of their popular series House of Cards and we are all here for it! It’s going to be the first season since lead actor Kevin Spacey, who played conniving politician Frank Underwood, got booted from the show by Netflix after the sexual assault allegations.
In the short clip Robin Wright’s character Claire Underwood finally stands in the Oval office as the first female President of the United States. Picking up from where the last season left off, the show will focus in on Clair Underwood’s presidency. The camera goes through the busy corridors of the white house to the Oval Office where Clair confidently stands behind the desk and says with a grin “We’re just getting started.” The teaser ends with a tagline “Hail to the Chief”.
