Since arriving on the Hip-Hop scene the 21-year old rapper has encouraged people to test his gangster. He has even traveled across state lines looking for trouble. In fact, his antics have led him to be the subject of multiple investigations not to mention the active investigation into the shots fired at Cheif Keef at the W hotel in New York City.

Late Monday night  (June 18) he shared his recent change of heart via Instagram speaking in a rather somber tone.

“Sometimes I feel like I do too much trolling. Sometimes I think I just do too much. And tomorrow’s not promised, you know what I mean. I feel like someone might get the wrong image of me. You could be here today and gone tomorrow. [XXXTentacion] spread nothing but positivity,” he said.

As news of X’s death spread many fans were quick to point out how ironic it was that 6ix9ine welcomed violence upon himself yet X was killed.  However, it is this exact mentality that plagues our community. X’s death should be a lesson to all, focus on what is important while making the most of your life while you can. Coincidentally, 6ix9ine also shared images of X reaching out to him, encouraging him to move smarter with patience and a relaxed mindset.

For the sake of his own life, let’s hope Tekashi 6ix9ine genuinely learned a lesson from the death of XXXTentacion.
