International artist and producer Akon has always been active outside of the studio bringing necessities to his people, but the “Locked Up” singer’s next game-changing plan I see to build his own city.
The Konvict Muzik CRO has linked with the president of his home country of Senegal and negotiated the design of his own 2,000 acres “Crypto-City,” which will be built on the Blockchain.
The cryptocurrency that will settle all debts private and public, already coined the “Akoin,” I said slated for public purchase in Senegal in two weeks.
“I think that blockchain and crypto could be the savior for Africa in many ways because it brings the power back to the people and brings the security back into the currency system and also allows the people to utilize it in ways where they can advance themselves and not allow government to do those things that are keeping them down,” Akon said at the 2018 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France.
Akon has already made history in the Motherland, bringing over 600 million Africans electricity through his “Akon Lighting” company in 2013.
