Tiffany Haddish is known not to hold back any details of her life experiences. We have heard about everything from Groupon dates with Will and Jada to Beyonce getting bit by Sanaa Lathan. But have you heard about her date with Drake that fell through?
Linking back up with her Groupon girlfriend in Jada, Haddish took a visit to the very popular Facebook show Red Table Talk and dished on how she and Aubrey were scheduled to get to know each other a little bit but it ended up falling through. It all kicked off when the Girls Trip breakout star was featured in the “Nice for What” video leading to a date that never came to fruition.
“I block all this time off, like, I’m gonna get my mustache waxed, get my armpits waxed, got me a nice little dress. Then I’m like, ‘So what time are we heading out? Are you sending a car?'” Haddish shared. “And he’s like, ‘Oh, man, my bad.'”
Apparently, there was an emergency for Drake back home in Canada that he had to tend to. Unfortunately for Tiff, she missed out on a $100,000 payday for the date because she “was trying to see what that D do.”
2018 has been stacked for Haddish so far. She just wrapped up hosting the 2018 MTV Movie and TV Awards, won the Best Actress award at the BET Awards and has a role in the hit comedy on TBS The Last OG. The second half of the year is stacked as well, Haddish is set to star in two films, one alongside Kevin Hart.
