K. Michelle’s fourth LP received generally positive reviews following its December release. The album peaked at #23 on the Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B Albums charts with the single “Make This Song Cry” peaking at #13 on the Adult R&B Songs charts.

The “V.S.O.P.” performer has also gotten some love from the hip-hop community for her recent two-part surgery to remove illegal butt injections she received prior to her famed music career. A noticeably more petit K. Michelle has been flexing her natural body on the Gram ever since the surgery was complete.

Itty bitty. I look like my baby sister @iloveshalah it’s scary.

Aside from her stint on the VH1 reality show, Love & Hip-Hop, the Atlantic Records signed singer blew up from releasing mixtapes, so this announcement should excite her core fan base. The Puff and Petals Lounge CEO teased her fans on Instagram who has been “begging for the ratchet” musical mixtape.

As far as the All Monsters Are Human album, according to K. Michelle’s Instagram bio, this will be her “fifth and last” album. Whether she means her last album with her current situation or her last album, in general, remains unknown.

K was also set to be a cast member on the newest season of Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood, but she claims that she quit the show because of “reaching” producers. It seems like the R&B Queen will still appear in the new season but whether or not she’s in more than a couple episodes is up in the air.
