Remy Martin kicked off season five of their producer series with special judges, Big Sean and DJ Mustard.
Music executives, influencers, and fans gathered at The Bowery Ballroom in New York City as the next generation of aspiring music producers competed in a tournament-style competition for their chance for a co-sign to create a hit.
The event was hosted by The Breakfast Club’s own DJ Envy and featured performances by the following four finalists, Point 1, RamZ, St. James the Producer and N88. St. James the Producer earned his spot in the finals during the Los Angeles competition in the Fall.
The contestants played their beats for Big Sean, certified hitmaker, DJ Mustard, Kendall ‘Sav’ Freeman (VP of Maybach Music Group), Steve Carless (A&R Universal Music Group) and Orlando Wharton (A&R Atlantic Records).
The NYC launch event kicked-off an eight-city tour, with events following in Detroit, Las Vegas, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, before the winner is crowned in Los Angeles’ finale.
