It’s been almost 30 years since sneakerheads witnessed the freshness that is the original Nike MAG sneaker from the classic 1989 film Back to the Future II. These ultimate grails were so lit in fact that they sold for a whopping $200,000 USD back in a November 2017 auction, but now one lucky kick fiend just got the chance to get their hands on these again — well, just one shoe.
The “sole” sole sold — try saying that three times fast! — via the Shoezeum eBay profile for over $92,100 according to a @supreme_leaks_news IG post (seen above). The Marty McFly exclusive looks like it’s been holding up over time, give or take the completely fragile (i.e. falling apart) midsole that solidifies this sale as strictly for display use. Honestly, for over 90 racks, this is a nice collectors item that will give you guaranteed brownie points amongst the sneaker community.
