Teyana Taylor has been riding the momentum of her eight-track album, K.T.S.E. (Keep That Same Energy). Although fans received it a day later than expected due to crediting, the reception has been nothing short of exceptional. The Kanye and Mike Dean produced album was the fifth and final release of the projects conceived at Ye’s Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The support for Taylor’s sophomore album has been positive all across the board. Everyone from Diddy, Cardi B, SZA, and Nas have kept the same energy in supporting K.T.S.E. Both T.I. and Jermaine Dupri double tapped the posts as well in their support.

Now, the “Rose in Harlem” singer is joining forces with another big crooner in the game in Ty Dolla $ign. Taylor made the announcement via Twitter yesterday (July 3).

Ty Dolla $ign has been the most requested artist on the biggest releases so far this year. You can hear his voice on most of the Wyoming projects, (ye, Kids See Ghosts, Keep That Same Energy) Jay-Z and Beyonce’s, The Carters Everything Is Love as well as Drake’s Scorpion. The Los Angeles native is known for his raspy R&B sound and the numerous record he’s been featured on as well.

Although Taylor promised a re-release of her new album, fans did not get it. Therefore, they could not take her word on the collab album. She reassured the confirmation minutes later.

There has been no word yet from the “Ex” singer, but R&B fans will most certainly appreciate this. The collaboration project will only increase the platform for both artists. Ty Dolla $ign released his second studio album Beach House 3 in the latter half of 2017. He is also slated to release a joint album with Jeremih, entitled, MihTy this year as well. Without question, Ty Dolla continues to come highly demanded. We’ll continue to keep tabs on any updates of the joint project. Listen to both K.T.S.E. and Beach House 3 on all streaming platforms.
