If you consider yourself a ’90s kid, there weren’t too many things that brought more joy than the startup sound of your SEGA gaming system. For those that need to know what we’re talking about, here’s a quick reminder of the two syllables that had us lit 20 years ago:
Gucci showed they were hip to the game with the SEGA-inspired pieces in its vibrant SS’18 offering, and now they’re doubling down by dropping a Rhyton sneaker inspired by the ’90s gaming icon. The all-black upper and gum sole make way for the big and bold “GUCCI” print on the lateral side panel to really stand out and be the focal point for retro gaming heads to fawn over. Now, if only we could get a proper Sonic The Hedgehog shoe, or better yet some Streets of Rage 2-themed kicks for the one time!
