Bloom has now been dubbed #IDAdam and will be referred to as such throughout the rest of this article. #IDAdam asked Edwards to present identification while she was using the public pool. She later uploaded a video of the confrontation with a caption that read “this is a classic case of racial profiling in my half a million $$ neighborhood pool. This happened to me and my baby today.”

In the video, Edwards can be heard saying that “nobody else was asked their ID. I feel this is racial profiling; I am the only black person here with my son in the pool.” #IDAdam responds, “I ask residents pretty much a couple times a week.”

The officers that arrived at the scene said Edwards “has a card to get in the pool I believe that that should be enough.” She went on to rightfully resume her 4th of July in the public facility.

The lifeguard manager Karam Gulkham reassured that both Edwards and #IDAdam lived in the area. “There’s a key card to the door to get into the pool,” Gulkham told the Journal. “Apparently, it was not enough for him. I don’t know why he felt it wasn’t enough.”

By the following day, once everyone was finished enjoying the holiday and stuffing their faces with grilled food, they caught wind of the incident and the video racked up 4 million views and over 800,000 shares.

Social media is prompting that #IDAdam is fired from his job due to his disgusting behavior.
