Back in May, Zaytoven released his debut album Trap Holizay — a 12-track project with a plethora of artists from Lil Uzi to Gucci Mane, Ty Dolla $ign to Jeremih. A month later Zaytoven released a joint album with gospel rapper Lecrae.

Instead of letting up, Zaytoven has decided to pay it forward by launching a non-profit organization, Zay Area Foundation. As a result of Zaytoven’s father being a pastor, music has been apart of Zaytoven’s life since a very young age, of course stemming from his church upbringing in which he learned how to play the piano and the organ extremely well. His love for instruments easily translated to a passion for rap music, production, and engineering after a friend exposed him to the Hip-Hop genre during his teenage years.

The Zay Area Foundation provides access to music industry knowledge and focuses on increasing music education programs for youth, music services and activities available for young adults, and musical resources by granting products and instruments to underserved youth in poverty-stricken communities. As Zaytoven witnessed firsthand, music is instrumental in the development of the youth and can definitely be an outlet to better opportunities and career outlets than usually encouraged. Although The Zay Area Foundation is a non-profit organization their focus is to still support other nonprofit organizations across the United States that provide similar services such as poverty and hunger relief, music and production education and training, and music programs within schools, churches, and community centers.

The Zay Area Foundation is family run with Zaytoven’s father serving as CFO, and his mother, Luradean Dotson, serving as President. Based out of Atlanta, Georgia, The Zay Area Foundation has plans to make impacts across the world. Not only will Zaytoven’s legacy forever live through his music but now through his selfless charitable acts. Find out more information here.
