Steph and Ayesha Curry let off the real fireworks this past Independence Day as the power couple brought their third child into the world. Both Steph and Ayesha revealed the news on their IG pages last Wednesday (July 4), revealing their new heir’s name to be Canon W. Jack Curry.
Canon, born July 2 2018, is the first son for the couple, joining sisters Riley, who will turn 6 this month, and Ryan, who turns 3 next week. The English word ‘canon’ means “rule” or “measuring stick” — it’s the standard by which things are judged.
“My heart is FULL. God has been too good to us. Our beautiful baby boy Canon W.Jack Curry,” Ayesha gushed on Instagram. “He joined us earlier than we thought and we couldn’t be more excited and grateful. Family of 5!”
Ellen DeGeneres predicted back in February, when Ayesha was only around four months, that the two would have a boy. The couple appeared on her show and they decided that they wanted the gender of this baby to be a surprise.
