Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was a wanted man in Texas, but that came to an end when he was arrested in NYC today at JFK airport.
Returning home from a tour in Europe, 6ix9ine was taken into custody for an alleged attack on a 16-year-old teen who accused Tekashi of choking him in Houston mall back in January.
Tekashi’s management criticized the NYPD for arresting the 22-year-old Brooklyn native and having him extradited to Texas for a misdemeanor charge. Extradition is usually reserved for federal and felonious crimes.
