Daytime talk show queen Wendy Williams will celebrate her upcoming birthday this year by investing in the community alongside The Hunter Foundation and Facing Addiction with NCADD. Hammerstein Ballroom will be the host of “Wendy Williams Hunter Birthday Give Back Gala” on July 18.
The event will be a celebration that will raise funds to support the youths and families that are suffering from addiction and substance abuse. The night with Williams will be hosted by Torrei Hart and performances will be from Johnny Gill, Keri Hilson, and an unnamed special guest.
The Hunter Foundation operates under the mission and belief “that a healthy body cannot operate without a healthy mind and spirit.” The foundation works to support programs and community-based organizations.
The Hunter Foundation was founded after Williams’ own battle with drugs in 2014 as a means to assist those affected by their use.
