Chance The Rapper is the latest artist to receive the Kanye West seven track treatment. In a recent interview, the Coloring Book rapper revealed that they’re working from their hometown, Chicago.
“Working under him, working with him on his albums is crazy, but having him tell me that he wants to produce my album and come to Chicago is like . . . This month, we’re working in Chicago,” Chance said.
He said the content on the album comes from a “very, very personal” space. His sophomore album is also inspired by recent news coverage. “You won’t get my angle of the story if you’re reading it from articles and stuff,” he said.
