In 2011, the world saw Wiz Khalifa’s elevate from underground stoner rapper to certified hitmaker with a song dedicated to his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, “Black and Yellow.” Now he is back with the sequel. The Taylor Gang Founder teased the release of Rolling Papers 2 back in 2015. Although fans anticipated the release since the announcement 3 years ago, the wait is finally over.

Wiz stopped by Atlanta’s V 103 radio station to chop it up with Big Tigger before the new album release. While there the “We Them Boys” rapper shared his readiness to get back into the game. “I feel like I’ve been a star player, who has been watching people play, and coach is like, you ready to get in?” he said. “And I’m about to go crazy.”

It has been two yearsince the world has heard new Wiz Khalifa. His last album Khalifa was released in 2016. Since then, the Mary Jane connoisseur has incorporated a strict workout regime in his daily routine.

As he embarks on his Dazed & Blazed tour with Rae Sremmurd next month, he looks to continue that lifestyle.

The album is 25 tracks deep with a superb selection of features from Snoop Dogg and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony to PARTYNEXTDOOR. TyM88, Young Chop, Sledgren and many more are behind the boards of the new album. “This is my time to prove what I’m made of now,” said the “Roll Up” rapper. “F*** what we’ve done before.” He encourages all fans to listen to the album twice if they have to. One can expect a wide variety of sounds from the Atlantic Records Signee.
