When we first heard news of the spin-off from the Fast and Furious franchise that will focus on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s breakout character Hobbs many people were excited to see what would come from it. Seemingly everyone but Tyrese who plays the funny criminal Roman Pierce. Tyrese would make his opinion vocal on the matter online. Speaking out on the matter for the first time, The Rock visited Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen and stated: “there’s no need to have a conversation” with his co-star.

The Rock was visiting for his new film Skyscraper and more upcoming roles and when posed the question about Tyrese, the megastar did express disappointment in the situation.

“That whole thing with Tyrese, it was pretty disappointing because I’d been friends with Tyrese for a very long time,” Johnson shared. “I always feel like a beef requires two people to actually jump in it. It was really one-sided, and he had voiced his opinion a lot on social media and apparently, he was going through some stuff too in his personal life, but no, we haven’t talked and I don’t see where we would.”

If you are looking to see Dwayne Johnson on the big screen soon be sure to see Skyscraper in theaters now and stay on the lookout for the Fast and Furious spinoff Hobbs & Shaw coming in 2019.
