It’s no secret that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Tyrese Gibson have been beefing for quite some time due to the circumstances of the Fast & Furious franchise. In a recent interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live! Johnson explains that he is keeping his distance from the R&B singer.

“That whole thing with Tyrese, it was pretty disappointing because I’ve been friends with Tyrese for a very long time. And, you know, I always feel like a beef requires two people to actually jump in it, and it was really one-sided and he had voiced his opinion a lot on social media… To me, there’s no need to have a conversation.”

Back on the set of 2017’s The Fate of the Furious, the actor apparently dubbed Vin Diesel a “chicken sh**” and “candy a**” in a post. Tyrese then blamed The Rock for production being delayed regarding the upcoming film and continued taking jabs at the actor via social media.

Hopefully the cast can patch it up and get it together for 2020’s Fast & Furious 9.
