Young Thug announced his anticipated Slime Language project earlier this month. According to the tweet from Thugger, it was slated to be released Sunday, July 15. Welp, the day passed and there was no word about the project from the Atlanta rapper. Despite living up to the deadline he originally set, a preview of a possible feature leaked on Instagram.
It looks as if three-time Grammy Award Winning Artist, Chance the Rapper, will be featured on Slime Language. In the Instagram post, Chance is sitting behind a mic. Since the release of his critically acclaimed commercial mixtape in 2016, Chano has continued his philanthropy in his hometown of Chicago. His independent status gives him the luxury to release music as he pleases. A feature from the Chi-Town native will certainly enhance the project.
Slime Language will be the second project fans will get from the “Hercules” rapper. In April, he released Hear No Evil. The EP featured Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert, and 21 Savage.
